An authentic family home, that can accommodate up to 22 guests, surrounded by nature and located only a quarter of an hour’s drive from local beaches.
The castle offers 11 bedrooms and seven shower rooms/bathrooms, 6 of which are en-suite, set in 4 hectares of private grounds in the peace and quiet of the countryside.

The whole property is always rented exclusively to one family.
The château de la Chesnelie, which underwent extensive renovation in 2019, offers guests a taste of the famously refined French “art de vivre” with a deliciously modern twist.
On the ground floor there is a beautiful entrance with 2 sizeable lounges ( 35 m² and 25 m²) to its left which look out onto a covered, south-facing terrace. There is a large dining room to the right of this entrance and a substantial kitchen (40 m²).
The first floor has 7 bedrooms, 3 shower rooms, a bathroom/shower and 3 toilets.
The 2nd floor offers 4 bedrooms including 2 dormitories, 3 shower rooms, 2 toilets and a games room (TV, CD player and billiards).
Access to WIFI internet is available on all floors. Central heating throughout.
Located 6 km from a small town which is handy for food shopping and 20 minutes from La Roche-sur-Yon.

Rates and availability
Rental from 3,500€/week.
The whole property is always rented exclusively to one family.
You have the whole castle, with its rooms, its reception rooms, its park.
The rental price includes heating, water, electricity, garden maintenance, and regular cleaning of the castle.
During the stay and on request, the cleaning can be done with extra cost.
Sheets and towels are provided
The beds are made on your arrival.
Only the tourist tax is to be paid on arrival.
Deposit required : 4 000 €.

Interior regulations
No smoking inside
Unfortunately, pets are not accepted
22 persons maximum during the stay (for comfort and insurance reasons)
A calm, relaxing and restful atmosphere is expected. Quietness is desired on the west terrace and in the park at all times.
Arrival and departure
The entrance to the premises is between 2pm and 7:00pm and the exit before 10am.
Depending on the reservation schedule and the cleaning, the entry and exit times can be adapted.
Reservation
During the spring and summer school vacations, rental only from Saturday to Saturday, 7 nights minimum.
Payment
50% of the amount is to be paid at the time of reservation and the balance is to be paid on the day of arrival. Checks or bank transfers are accepted.
Cancellation
More than 30 days before arrival: refund of deposit
Less than 30 days before arrival: the deposit is retained unless the accommodation is re-rented for that period.
